Using Culture and Community Action to Improve Health, Education & Dignity
ADMYD is a social and cultural society working across education, sanitation, health awareness, government scheme outreach, and environmental action—responding to real needs on the ground.
Who We Are
ADMYD (Society of Social and Cultural Activity) is a community-based organisation working in Raipur, Chhattisgarh, committed to creating social change through culture, education, and community engagement.
We believe that arts, culture, and collective participation are powerful tools to build awareness, change behaviour, and strengthen public systems. What began in 2018 as cultural education initiatives for children has grown into a registered society addressing real social needs across multiple sectors.
ADMYD works across education, school sanitation and hygiene (WASH), health awareness, government scheme outreach, environmental action, and cultural development. We use methods such as kala jatha, street theatre, workshops, school programs, and community campaigns to connect with people in meaningful and accessible ways.
A key focus of our current work is school sanitation and hygiene improvement. In partnership with NH MMI Hospital, we are implementing school sanitation, hygiene education, and toilet retrofitting and renovation in urban government schools of Raipur—addressing dignity, safety, and health of children.
We do not limit ourselves to a single cause.
We respond to ground realities, working wherever awareness, access, and dignity are needed most—especially for children, youth, women, and vulnerable communities.

What We Do
01.
—We Use Culture
We use music, dance, theatre, literature, and kala jatha as tools to engage communities, spread awareness, and communicate social messages in simple, relatable ways.
02.
— We Build Awareness
Through street theatre, workshops, and campaigns, we raise awareness on health, education, sanitation, government schemes, and social responsibility.
03.
— We Improve Schools
We work in government schools to improve sanitation, hygiene practices, and learning environments through WASH programs and infrastructure support.
04.
—We Educate Communities
We support children, youth, and women through educational activities, life skills, hygiene education, and participatory learning programs.
05.
— We Restore Dignity
In partnership with institutions, we retrofit and renovate school toilets to ensure safety, hygiene, dignity, and better health for children.
06.
— We Collaborate
We partner with hospitals, government departments, schools, and organisations to design and implement need-based community interventions.
Impact Stories
Culture Reaching Communities
From Streets to Awareness
Through kala jatha and street theatre, ADMYD reached communities across urban and semi-urban areas, spreading awareness on health, education, sanitation, and government welfare schemes in a language people understand.
Our cultural teams engaged children, youth, women, and families—turning public spaces into platforms for dialogue, awareness, and participation.
Restoring Dignity in Schools
Transforming Unsafe School Toilets
In partnership with NH MMI Hospital, ADMYD intervened in urban government schools of Raipur where toilet conditions were unsafe and unhygienic.
Through sanitation awareness, hygiene education, and toilet retrofitting, schools were transformed into safer spaces—improving health, dignity, and daily school experience for children.
